The members of the team that started GEOCAMP in 2002 were Geology teachers from three universities (University of Girona, Autonomous University of Barcelona and Polytechnic University of Catalonia). The people who promoted this platform were: David Brusi, Joan Bach, Maria Rita Estrada, Eudald Maestro, Antoni Obrador, Oriol Oms, Enric Vicens and Josep Biosca. In its various stages, the application has been developed with the support of programming professionals such as Andreu Galindo, Ramon Gelabert, Iglésies Associats, and TOTHOMweb. GEOCAMP is today a collaboration space hosted at the University of Girona that is made possible by all the people who use it.
